The 2012 Port to Park swim was run in near perfect weather. With light Northerly winds, 30 C and clear sky's all 193 entrants could not have asked for more. Thank you to all contestants, club volunteers and sponsors for their great support. See you back at SMLSC for 2013! SMLSC |

► Port to Park Open Water Swim 2011 - Saturday 4th February 2012
The Port to Park Open Water Swim is 1.1km. The swim is a straight line swim starting in Port Melbourne at Lagoon Pier, and finishes at Kerferd Pier in Albert Park.
Located on South Melbourne Beach, the swim is unique in its format and also as it allows spectators to walk the beach or on the footpath, and follow the swimmers.

Information for Swimmers Please be advised that registration is at the South Melbourne LSC. Registration opens at 7.30am and closes at 10.00am. All swimmers who have pre-registered or those who enter on the day need to attend the registration to be given their cap and additional information. We will hold a short swimmers briefing at 10.00am on the sand in front of the clubhouse. Once the briefing is completed, we will ask swimmers to walk to Lagoon Pier for the start.
