South Melbourne Life Saving Club - For New Members Only
The Committee and members of the South Melbourne Life Saving Club always welcome new members.
The Club is run by volunteers for volunteers and we rely on members for their support to ensure facilities are pleasant and safe for all members to enjoy.
Our primary function is to train and provide volunteer Life Savers and ensure patrols are provided along the Albert Park stretch of beach.
Your Annual Membership Fees ensure the Club remains viable and we have the vital equipment to provide lifesaving services, maintain equipment and facilities as well as meet the standards set by Life Saving Victoria and Government bodies.
Your membership entitles you to make use of the facilities and the Committee encourages members to become involved in the activities of the Club. These activities include life saving, nippers, fundraising, social get-togethers and we welcome members to stand for positions on the Committee and sub-Committees.
Membership renewal is due on 1 July each year.
All members 18 years and over must have a current Working With Children Check as per SLSA and LSV Policy AD6-05.
