Competition & Training South Melbourne Life Saving Club
The Instructors and Training Officers at SMLSC, under the
direction of the Chief Instructor, conduct training for life saving
awards.
The Bronze Medallion (for members 15+); or Surf
Rescue Certificate (for members 13+) are the minimum qualifications
required for a volunteer surf life saver.
Holders of these awards must undergo a proficiency
test every 12 months.
The next Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate will be held as
a camp in the September school holidays.
Date: Monday 28th September to Friday 2nd October
Location: South Melbourne LSC, pool work also to be completed
offsite
Cost: $250
What is included: The course fee includes membership to the
South Melbourne Life Saving Club for the 2009/10 season, Manual and all
training resources, entry to pool, club bathers, patrol uniform on
completion of course and food for the 5 days of the camp.

to the clubs PO Box by Friday 18th September.
